Aat Liefbroer (1958) is endowed professor of Demography of Young Adulthood and Intergenerational Transmission at the Department of Sociology. He also is Theme Leader Families & Generations at the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI-KNAW) and professor of Life Course Demography at the Department of Epidemiology of the University Medical Centre Groningen, University of Groningen. Liefbroer currently is National Coordinator of the European Social Survey (ESS), responsible for waves 10 and 11. Liefbroer also is National Coordinator of the Gender and Generations Programme (GGP).
Experienced researcher, consultant and data scientist with a demonstrated history of working in the market- and public opinion reseach industry and in Academia. Skilled in research design, survey methodology, small and big data analyis (SPSS, Stata, R, Python), network analysis and high quality data visualization (e.g. Tableau), and conducting focus groups. Experience in lecturing both in Hungarian and English. Strong dedication to learn, explore and apply new data tools and methods (networks, big data) in social research.
A graduate of an engineering school and a research master's degree in economics, Agnalys also has a doctorate in economic sciences (experimental and behavioral). She designed and participated in various social sciences surveys. She also has teaching experience, including an ATER position (2018-2019). Currently, she is, with Emiliano Grossmann, national coordinator of the European Social Survey (European Research Infrastructure Consortium ESS Consortium). She is also responsible for setting up the CRONOS-2 panel, Opinion Study, in France. She has developed expertise in survey methodology on questions of the effects of recruitment methods and questionnaire evaluation: cognitive interviews and MTMM. Finally, it sets up experiments during other CDSP projects.
